Clips collections frame

Collections frame of AccelClip contains collections tree and a list of a clips from active collection. All collections folders are organized as a tree. When one of collection is selected, clips view displays its contents.

All clips may be freely moved between collection with Drag and Drop.

Coping a clip into clipboard

To copy any clip, mark it and select Copy command from Edit or context menu, or press Ctrl and double click over clip

Pasting a fragment

To paste any clip, first select it and choose Direct paste to paste fragment directly into application you work with.

Viewing and editing clips

To view or edit any clip, locate and select it in the clips collection. If viewer automatic mode is turned off, select View menu, otherwise selected object will be loaded into viewer right after selection. With AccelClip you can view and edit as plain and formatted text as graphics clips.

Moving or coping of a clip to another collection

To move a clip into other position in currently active collection drag one into destination place.
To move a clip into another collection, select one and use Clips » Copy to collection menu. In the shown box you can select destination collection. There is another way - drag clip to a collection label in the collections tree and wait a moment, while collection contents will be displayed. Then, drop clip into appropriate position. To copy a clip use the same way as when moving, but press Ctrl key.

Creating a new clips

To create a new empty clip select Clips » Create New menu, and, in the shown box, select format of clip you wish to create. New clip will be placed before selected one into active collection. Note, that you can create clips via clipboard and from any part of file on disk too.

Deleting a clip

To delete a clip, select it and use Delete command of Edit menu. When any clip is deleting, it is placing into Trash collection. If the clip is deleting from Trash, it is erasing permanently.

Exporting clips

To export any clip, select Export command from Clips menu. In the save dialog you can choose format to save (from list of supported formats).

Printing a clip

AccelClip allows printing of clips using registered windows application. To do this, use Print command from Clips menu.

First clip in Windows Clipboard collection

The first clip in Windows Clipboard collection represents a current clipboard contents. When you reorder clips, the contents of clipboard is changing so the first fragment is always placed in the clipboard.

Setting up a collection properties

To change a collection properties, select a collection in the tree and use Properties command from Clips or context menu. In the shown dialog you can specify collection hot key, name and comments.

To change a clip properties, mark one and select Properties command from Clips or context menu. In the shown dialog you can specify clip hot key and caption. Later you can paste clips using hot keys directly from active application.

Creating new Favorites collection

To create a new collection in Favorites folder, first select parent collection and choose New Collection from Collections menu. In the shown dialog setup collection properties type some name and press Ok.

Deleting a Favorites collection

To delete any Favorites collection select it and choose Delete from Edit menu. Note, that will be deleted as selected collection, as all child collections.

Clearing a collection

To delete all clips from any collection, select Clear Collection from Collection menu. Note, that clips will not be placed into trash, but will be erased permanently.
