General settings section contains some common options of AccelClip
| Launch AccelClip with Windows | If this checked, AccelClip will be starting on Windows logon. |
| Minimize to system tray | When this option is tuned on, AccelClip will be minimized into system tray area, otherwise, into Task Bar. |
| Display separation lines in lists | If this checked, a gray separation lines will be showing in all list controls. |
| Display size of large files in KBytes | When this option is tuned on, a size of files, greater than 10 Mb will be displaying in KBytes, otherwise, in bytes. |
| Show hints | This option controls hints displaying. |
| Include shortcuts into hints | If this checked, a shortcuts will be included into hints text. |
| Show hidden files and folders | When this option is checked, a hidden files and folders will be visible in Files Browser. Use this option with care, because wrong deletion of hidden files may cause system crash. |
| Do not separate folders extensions | If this checked, an extensions of folders will be displaying tightly with names, otherwise in a separate column. |
| All folders in upper case | If this checked, all folders will be displayed in upper case. |
| Normalize files and folders names | If this checked, names of files and folders will be normalized (i.e. converted to a sentence format: first letter is capital, other are in lower case), otherwise, names will be displayed as is. |
| Use auto scrolling for tree views | If this checked, contents of trees and lists will be automatically scrolled when the mouse stays for a moment in the border of control. |
| Auto collapse tree views | If this checked, AccelClip tree views will auto collapse when you deactivate some node. This behavior is Windows XP - like. |
| Don't minimize AccelClip after paste | If this checked, AccelClip will not be minimized when you select a Direct Paste command. Otherwise, it will be hidden. |
| Do not show splash screen on startup | If this checked, AccelClip splash will be disabled. |
| Frames titles style | This option defiles style of frames headers. It may be one of the following: small, hatched or gradient and large, textured |
This section defines, which formats must be processed and which restrictions must be applied by AccelClip.
| Process following formats (list of formats) | The list of clipboard formats, supported by AccelClip. Check format you wish to be processed, un check all others. |
| Do not capture text fragments Smaller than ... | If this option checked, AccelClip will not capture text fragments smaller than specified size. Use this option to exclude low-informative fragments. |
| Do not capture text fragments Larger than ... | If this option checked, AccelClip will not capture text fragments larger than specified size. |
| Duplicate files with text format (Copy Location option) | If this option is turned on, AccelClip will duplicate a files, placed into clipboard with plain text, containing path to these files. |

| Auto preview delay ... | Delay between selection of file or clip and loading one into viewer (in milliseconds). |
| Confirm formats conversion on preview | If checked, a format conversion dialog will be displaying on loading clip or file into AccelClip viewer, otherwise, will be user more descriptive format. |
| Do not preview automatically binary files larger than ... | Check this option to prevent AccelClip from automatic loading of large binary files. |
| Automatically preview files from floppy | If checked, AccelClip will automatically preview files from floppy drives. This process requires much time, because low speed of floppy disks media. |
This page defines, which confirmations must be used and which may be skipped.
| List of confirmations | List of available confirmation. Check item if you wish to use confirmation, un check to skip one. |
Make-up page controls visual parameters of AccelClip.
| Interface element | List of interface elements, which visual parameters may be adjusted. Select any element to view or change font and color. |
| Sample | This filed displays sample of interface element view. |
| Color | Color for foreground or background of interface element. Click Other Color to choose system or custom color. |
| Font | Font for interface element. Click Change to choose another font or adjust font size. |
At this section you can assign sound to some AccelClip events: clip capture, clips reordering, etc. Click on Browse button at the right to select a new sound (*.wav files supported), click on speaker icon to test the sound.
The Files Highlighting tab defines scheme of files coloring for Files Browser and Clips Viewer.
| Use files highlighting | If this option is checked, all files will be colored depending on its extensions, otherwise, coloring will not be used. |
| Extension masks (with optional * and ?) divided by semicolon | Mask of files extensions, which will be colored with specified color. A masks must be separated with semicolon (e.g. *.gif or *.jpg;*.jpeg) |
| Attributes for group | Attributes for selected files group. Only files which satisfies to specified here attributes will be colored. |
| Registered extension masks | A list of currently registered highlight groups. Select any group to change. |

| Assigned shortcut | A key combination, currently assigned to selected action. Press Backspace to clear this field or press a new key combination. After edition, do not forget to save changes using Change button at the right. |
