CUSTOM FILTER

This command filters displaying files according filter template. All unsatisfying to filter files does not displaying.

Format of filter template is equal to Windows one. Asterisk * means 0, 1 or more symbols, Question symbol ? - any one letter, digit or symbol

For example, *.doc is a filter for all Microsoft Word documents, Tab*.xl? - filter for MS Excel workbooks *.xl and templates *.xlt, which names started with Tab and has any number of symbols, etc.

You may use predefined filters from Filters Toolbar. Select appropriate item from menu, press Ctrl to add filter to currently using. You may find active filter in the corresponding field of Filters Toolbar.

To remove filter, use Remove filter / Selection command from Manager menu or button on Filters toolbar.

Note, that this filtering commands may be used either for filtering or for selection of files. You can change the action pressing Shift or changing switch in Tools » Default Actions menu, or using Preferences dialog.

Select Custom Filter … from Manager menu or use Filters Toolbar.
