Batch files operations

With Batch file operations option of AccelMan you can rename and move or copy a group of files with some files names processing. You can add a counter, truncate and replace some text in file names and more.

To start, mark some files in file manager and select Batch File Operations from Commands menu.

Batch operations dialog contains two parts: left where you can specify renaming rules and right with results of names processing.

Name: in this group you can change file name of processing files. Chars that bounded with {} are special and means:

Also, you can type any valid file name symbol without brackets - it will be substituted to result file name with no changes.

Extension: same as Name, but all rules are applying to file extension.

Destination: in this field you can specify destination folder and select desired file operation (coping or moving). Click on Browse button to select a folder.

Process Names group helps you change file names strings. You can change case and replace some text.

Preview. At this list you can see result of file renaming. If there is name conflict (you have two or more files with identical names) you will see a files that could not be processed highlighted with red. Double click to rename it manually.

When all options were adjusted, press Ok to preform operation or Cancel to close dialog without any actions.
