COPING, MOVING, COMPRESSING, EXTRACTING FILES DIALOG

Applicable to: Manager, Player and Preview

With this box you can copy, move, compress and extract selected files from File Manager, Viewer or Media Player.

Dialog contains following controls:

Operation: performing operation. Can be one of the following: Copy files (files are coping), Move files (after copy, source files will be deleted after successful finish of operation), Create Links (will be created a links for all selected files and folders).
Destination: folder – acceptor of processing files. To change destination folder, use folders tree at the right.
Source files: list of files and folders that have to be processed. Use context menu to add or remove some ones.
Destination folders: tree of folders for quick selection of destination folder for file operation. Click on arrow button to open destination folder in tree.
Overwrite mode. This field determines how AccelMan will process name conflicts. It may be one of following: Ask for overwrite (you will be asked for overwrite of existing files, if there are), Overwrite all existing files (overwrite files with no confirmation), Skip all existing files (update), Refresh old files only.
Check free space before coping: if checked a destination drive will be tested for enough free space.
Update source directory state info: if checked a directory state of source folder will be updated or stored
Do not show this message again: check this box, if you do not wish to use this confirmation box next time. To revert using of confirmation back select Tools » Preferences menu.

ZIP Compression

In AccelMan realized original Archive-On-Fly option. You can compress files when copy or move. Also, following options are available when you copy files to a ZIP archive.

ZIP compression: method of compression. May be one of following: none (copy without compression), Create ZIP (create standard ZIP archive - *.zip file), Create self-extractor (create self-extractor archive – executable Win32 file).
Store path names: If checked files will be compressed into archive with path names. Otherwise only files will be stored. This option is available only for newly creating archive.
ZIP options...: Click to setup options of ZIP archivator (e.g. compression mode, using DOS names etc.)
Password: At this field you can specify a password for creating ZIP archive. Use this option with care - if you have forgotten password string you could not extract compressed files

ZIP Extraction

When you are coping or moving files from archive available following options:

Extract with path names: If checked files will be extracted into destination folder with path names. Otherwise files will be written directly into destination folder
Test Only: If this checked archived files will not be written into disk but will expanded for testing archive integrity
Password: Specify here password for expanding ZIP archive

Press Ok to apply changes or Cancel to close dialog without action.
