CUSTOMIZING OF KEYBOARD

AccelMan can reassign shortcuts for all commands. You can assign to one command more than one shortcut.

Select Customize… command from Tools menu, or from toolbars context menu. Select Keyboard tab in customization dialog.

Keyboard tab contains following elements:

Category: list of commands categories.
Available commands: list of available commands from selected category.
Description: small description for selected command.
New shortcut: field for entering of new shortcut.
Current shortcuts: list of currently assigned shortcuts for selected command.
Assign: clicking this button a shortcut from New Shortcut field will be added to Current shortcuts list.
Delete: this button deletes selected item from list of current shortcuts.
Set default: revert shortcuts for selected command to defaults.
Save: save current shortcuts into preferences file. Future you can restore scheme.
Load: load previously saved shortcuts.

To add a new shortcut to a command, choose a category, select one in the commands list and press new key combination.

If it is already assigned to another command – you find it name in the field below. In this case the old assignment will be removed.

NOTE that keyboard shortcuts does not storing in interface schemes. When you restore saved desktop layout – keyboard layout does not changes. Use Customization wizard to change shortcuts.

When you made all changes, press Close button to switch AccelMan into normal work mode.
