AccelMan helps you separate files, which were modified after date of saving Directory State. Directory State is an internal files list, that used for changes identification. This option may be useful when you are working on two computers: you can transfer only modified files; when you wish to view, which files were added during installation of some software, etc.
If you need to find files that were modified since some date you can also use File Search and Files Selection functions.
Use Directory State commands from Tools menu.
To save state of folder open it in file manager and select Tools » Directory state » Save Directory State menu. AccelMan creates a system list file named Files.SyncData, where saves all files that currently present in the folder. Later, contents of folder will be compared with this file to separate changes.
To select files, created in folder after date of Directory State storing select Tools » Directory state » Select New and Changed files. All files, that absent in stored listing or has changed size, date, time or attributes will be selected.
To select files, which stay unchanged from the date of Directory State saving select Tools » Directory state » Select Non changed files. All files that stay unchanged will be selected.
You can view which files were deleted from the folder. Select Tools » Directory state » Show deleted files to display list of file names (with date, time, size and attributes) that were removed since date of saving folder state.
This list can be saved into list file.
To view, when the state of directory was saved, select Tools » Directory state » Directory State information.
In files processing dialog there is an option to update directory state
