External programs

To setup antivirus tester and command prompt options select Preferences from Tools menu and mark External programs section.

Path to executable: Fill path to Virus Scanner that you wish to use by Test for viruses command. Click the button at right to call browse for file dialog.
Optional parameters: Options for virus scanner. This is optional parameter. Please refer to antivirus program documentation for details.
Supports files list: Virus Scanner supports files list. If you want to check large group of files AccelMan creates list of files and pass it to antivirus program. Refer to Virus Scanner documentation for information about using this option. If it does not used you can scan only 5 files each time
File list option: Files list options parameter. Refer to Virus Scanner documentation for information about using this option
Use DOS 8.3 format of file names: Check if Virus Scanner supports DOS names (in 8.3 format). All DOS programs need this option on. All Windows applications must have this option turned off
Use OEM encoding for scanner parameters: Check this box if you are using DOS virus scanner. Otherwise leave this box unchecked.
Close command processor window after use: Command processor option.
