Bookmarks Editor

Bookmarks editor is a special tool for editing of bookmarks. To open (or activate) Bookmarks Editor select Bookmarks Editor from View menu.

Editor contains three elements: Groups Tree, Bookmarks List and status bar. In the Groups Tree you find all groups of bookmarks in a hierarchical structure. To view a contents of some group select it, contents will be shown in the bookmarks list. Status line displays parameters of selected bookmark or group of bookmarks.

In bookmarks editor you can create new group, bookmark or separator, adjust bookmark properties, change order of bookmarks, rename a bookmark and other.

To create new bookmark (group of bookmarks or separator) use New Item (New Group, New Separator) item from context menu. New object will be created and placed before currently selected, after that you will be prompted for properties of new object: display name and path to object.

To change bookmark path or screen name, double click over it or use File » Properties command to call bookmark properties box. By the same way you can change name of group.

To rename item (bookmark or group) press F2 or select File » Rename menu.

To reorder bookmarks and groups drag source objects and drop into new position. Another way: mark bookmarks, cut and paste into appropriate position.

Note that you can edit bookmarks directly on Bookmarks Toolbar or in Bookmarks menus using context menus and drag and drop method.
