Working with frames: opening and closing

There are five basic types of frames, they are: File Manager, Media Player, Viewer, Bookmarks and Filters editors.

File Managers

To create new File Manager, select New Manager from Manager menu (or press Ctrl+F3).

There are more other ways how you can create a new File Manager:

Click on drives bar with pressed Ctrl to create manager and open corresponding drive.
Mark a folder and select Open in New manager from context menu.
Select Go from Navigation menu and type a path which may be opened in new manager.
When you creating a new folder, you can instruct AccelMan to create new manager for this folder.

You can open unlimited number of File Managers.

Other frames

To open Viewer frame, select Show Viewer from View menu. If viewer frame is already opened - it becomes active. Other way - mark some file in a Manager and press F3 (F4) or select View (Edit) from File menu. Marked file will be loaded into viewer and viewer will be activated.

To open or activate Media Player, select Show player from View menu. As alternative, you can mark some audio or video files and press F3 (or select Preview from File menu). This file will be placed into play list of Media Player and the last starts playing.

To open or activate Bookmarks or Filters editor window, select Bookmarks Editor or Filters Editor from View menu or from context menu of corresponding toolbar.

Closing AccelMan frames

You can close any of AccelMan frame using one of following ways:

click over close button on the frame caption (as it is shown on the figure)
press Ctrl+F4
select command Close from Window menu
select Close from context menu of frame tab or frame caption
