MAIN WINDOW

The main window of AccelMan contains following elements: main menu and toolbars, which may be placed at the top or bottom of the window, a set of child windows - frames and status line, as it is shown on the figure.

There are following kinds of frames (please refer to corresponding section for detailed information):

At every moment you can use unlimited number of frames. One of them is Active, all commands you select from menu are applying to this frame. You can create new frames, reorder with drag and drop, resize, maximize/restore (Ctrl+F5) and close (Ctrl+F4).

There are many ways to switch active frame using mouse or keyboard

You can freely construct the structure of main window according your needs. Even more, AccelMan can save Interface schemes, so you can create more than one interface scheme. There are some predefined schemes, e.g. Windows Explorer, Norton Commander or 2x Explorer

To use full screen mode (expanded to full desktop window without caption) select Full Screen from View menu.

Among AccelMan toolbars there are two original ones: bookmarks and filters toolbar.

On the bookmarks toolbar placed AccelMan bookmarks, grouped into bookmarks folders. To use some bookmark click on group button and select corresponding menu item. To add bookmark, drag a file or folder to this toolbar and wait for a moment, while will be expanded bookmarks menu

The second original toolbar is Filters Bar. You can use it for files filtering or selection with power options

All elements of AccelMan window may be customized, you can adjust main menu, toolbars, context menus, keyboard shortcuts and status line according your personal needs. To display or hide some toolbars click with right button over any toolbar to call context menu or use View » Toolbars menu.

On the status line AccelMan displays current date and day of the week, state of keyboard lock keys, volume control and some other information.
