AccelMan supports unlimited count of file manager frames. Each manager represent one folder. To make AccelMan like Norton Commander you need to open and tile two managers.
To open manager press Ctrl+F3 or select
Create New Manager from Manager menu. Also you can create new manager with Open in new manager command.
AccelMan File Manager frame contains Quick Bar, Folders Tree (or History, Search Results, Disk info, Folder Information), Files List and Status Line.
At the top of File Manager frame you can find a Quick Bar - toolbar with navigation buttons. Look at figure below for more information. You can turn off Quick Bar using Preferences box.

First part of File Manager represents one of the following objects: Folders Tree, History List, Search Results List, Disk or Directory information. You can switch these objects using corresponding control at the manager status bar (see below).
In any case, when you select a file, files list displays file location, if you select a folder, in files list displaying its contents.
There are two ways how folders tree or other controls of manager are linked to files list. If manager is Unlocked (symbol
on the manager status bar) and you select any folder in tree - contents of the list will be automatically changed to this folder. Otherwise, if manager is Locked (symbol
) files list will not be changed unless you double click over any folder in tree (or History, etc.).
Also, in this menu, you can select File Manager splitting style. It may be split either Vertically or Horizontally or be in Single mode - when it is displayed files list only.

Please note that all manager style commands has keyboard shortcuts, as it is shown at figure.
Files List displays contents of current folders. If you are using filters, not all files may be visible, but only ones that satisfy to active filter. At the top of list in details mode there is columns header. You can select which columns to display and which need to stay hidden using columns context menu.
To resort files list by one of parameters click on the corresponding column. If this column is hidden, use View » Sort By menu. Sorting column marked with red arrow, when files sorted ascending, the arrow directed up, otherwise - down.

All operations are applying to marked files. You can mark ones using various ways: with pressed Shift - to select diapason, Ctrl - to select files individually, commands Select All, Select, Inverse, Unselect, and Filters toolbar with pressed Shift.
Default destination folder for operations with files is a folder of the nearest neighbour manager, in the operation dialog you can select any other opened manager or specify folder directly.
At the manager status line you find information regarding active folder, selected files and disk space (look at figure for details).

To select a disk click over status line.
The background of the right part of status line displays proportion of free and total space of current disk.
