AccelMan Media Player

With AccelMan media player you can play audio and video files, create, edit and manage play lists of WinAmp, Sonique or Windows Media Player. At the figure below you find Media player control panel with description of elements

To open or activate Media Player, select Show Player from View menu or mark some audio or video files in the file manager and select Preview from File or context menu or press F3.

AccelMan player supports automatic and manual modes. When player in automatic mode, at the left-bottom corner of status line displaying "unlock" symbol , in the manual mode it is showing "locked" symbol . In Automatic mode, marked in active file manager file automatically loading into player, in the Manual mode you need to call Preview command (or press F3).

AccelMan player supports just all file manager commands, so you can copy, e-mail, Send To, etc. files directly from play list, using corresponding commands from main menu.

Elapsed/Remaining time indicator: player indicator can display either elapsed or remaining time of track. To switch mode click with left mouse button.

Lyrics - is a text file of any supported format (txt, rtf, or even MS Office), associated with track. When track is playing this file is displaying in the lyrics field of player. In the default configuration, Lyrics field is turned off, to start using it you need to show Lyrics column using header context menu (accessible with right mouse button)

Alias: is a text string, associated with track. It is useful option, when you play a tracks form CD-ROM, and track has incorrect names or you wish to comment records. Aliases are storing in play lists, so you can assign correct names to tracks in this case. In the default configuration Alias field is turned off, to start using it you need to display corresponding column of play list. Click with right mouse button over list header and select Alias column

Status line displays information about selected record or, if there is no selection, about whole play list.

Control and indicators panel contains following switches:

Shuffle: if checked, player will process records randomly, otherwise - consecutively.

Repeat mode: (click to toggle)

Acquainting mode: if it is turned on, only fragment of the track will be played. Start and the length of this fragment may be adjusted in Player Preferences.

To cancel playing and clear play list select Cancel playing from context menu or press Escape. Play list will be cleared and player deactivated.

Play lists

Play list is a list of all files that will be played consecutively (or in random order, if Shuffle option is turned on). You can reorder records, remove dead (absent) entries, remove duplicate records, sort by a various parameters, generate HTML play list, etc. using Media Player menu which may be populated with corresponding button on the player control panel. AccelMan supports *.m3u and *.pls play list, that are compatible with WinAmp, Windows Media Player, Sonique and others players.

To add a play list entry simply drag audio file from File Manager (or other Windows application) and drop onto an appropriate position into Play List.

Media player of supports 32+ formats: mp2, mp3, vqf, wav, avi, mid, pls, m3u, mod, s3m, xm, it, stm, nst, ult, 669, wow, mtm, med, far, mdl, ams, dsm, amf, okt, dmf, ptm, mdz, s3z, xmz, itz, mpz, mez, rmi, all others Windows formats using MCI interface.
