WORKING WITH PLAY LISTS

Play list contains all files that will be played consecutively (or in random order if Shuffle option is light on). Records may be reordered, removed or added using drag and drop. Play list may be saved either in *.pls or in *.m3u format. These formats compatible with WinAmp, Windows Media Player, Sonique and other popular players. Note that some AccelMan extensions (lyrics and alias) may be saved only in*.m3u format.

To add some files, mark it in File Manager (like any other Windows application), drag to player and drop into appropriate position.

To delete some entry from play list select Delete from Edit menu, or press Delete key, or drag it into Trash Bin. Note that this operation deletes item from play list but not actual file.

To refresh play list and check tracks presence select Refresh from View menu. Play list will be re-read and data of all tracks (time, author information for mp3, etc.) will be updated.

Entries of play list that points to absent files marked with gray color. You can delete such items selecting Remove Dead Entries from Player » Play List menu.

To remove all duplicates from play list select Player » Play List » Remove duplicates menu.

To place entries of play list in the reverse order select Player » Play List » Reverse Play list. You can sort play list by any field: click over corresponding column header or select from Player » Sort By menu. To shuffle play list tracks select Player » Play List » Randomize play list.

With AccelMan player you can generate HTML play lists with live links to media files. Select Player » Play List » Generate HTML play list and specify destination file name in the shown box.

To save play list select Save from File menu, to create new play list select Player » New play list.

AccelMan player supports just all file manager commands, so you can copy, e-mail, Send To, etc. files directly from play list, using corresponding commands from main menu.

ALIAS AND LYRICS

AccelMan player supports extended play lists. For each record you may specify alias and lyrics.

Track alias is an alternate name for record. Some multimedia formats (e.g. *.wav) does not supports track information (title, authors name, etc.). Using this option you can name files of these formats correctly

Lyrics - is a text file of any supported format, associated with some track. When track is playing this file will be displayed in Lyrics field of player. This option can be used for storing of lyrics or any comments for track. Links to lyrics file are stored in play list, but lyrics text stay in a separate file

Note that alias and the link to lyrics stored in play list. You need to save play list to store this information. If you wish to transfer play list with lyrics onto another computer you need to copy both play list file and all lyrics files.
