SELECTING FILES AND FOLDERS

There are several methods of files and folders selection. These methods are applicable not only to files, but also to Media Player records, History entries and others objects of AccelMan. Note, that you can select several folders in Files tree or in the tree views of Bookmarks and filters editors.

Selected objects are displaying with other font, you can adjust its style in AccelMan preferences.

Selection with keyboard

Move cursor to the first file you wish to select and press Insert or Space key. Marked file will be selected and list cursor moved to the next file.

To select a continuous block of files press Shift and arrow key.

Selection with keyboard and mouse

Selecting of single file: press Ctrl and click with left mouse button over file you wish to select. New selection will be added to currently existing.

Selecting a group of files: place cursor to first file of group, press Shift and click over last file of the group. All files between first and last ones will be selected.

Selection files and folders using template

In AccelMan you can select files and folders using abstract template with restrictions by date. Press + key or select Select from Edit menu and in the shown selection box specify some files mask and, if required - date restrictions. With this method you can select files that were modified yesterday, last week or during any other date interval.

Selecting files with filter bar

To select files using filter bar press Shift and select appropriate filter. To add selection to currently existing press Shift and Ctrl. To remove selection press button on the filter bar or select Remove filter/selection.

Selecting all files and folders

To select all files and folders in the managers list press Ctrl+A or select Edit » Select All from main menu.
