Proper Procedure To Install A Convector Heater

A convector heater is one of the more commonly used heating technique when the air is drawn in, uses an element to heat the air and then diffuse it back in the room through the vents at the top of the unit.  It is also known for its economical, quiet, reliable and safe method of heating provided it is installed properly. To make sure it is properly installed, start by turning off the power supply and review the manufacturer’s installation instructions and safety guidelines as well. Next would be to find the studs in the wall using a detector. Install the wall bracket and pull the wires out of the wall at least for four inches. Next would be to hang the heater on the bracket. Lastly, install the thermostat on the wall. It should be located away from the heater but exposed enough to the room’s general airflow. Make sure to test the heater after installing it.
